Steam is currently in the midst of its Black Friday sales, offering a ton of great titles at never seen before discounts. The titles range from first person shooters to tactical turn based RPGs, and there are some genuinely good deals here.
The Halo Master Chief Collection is one such deal, available at a whopping 75% off its MSRP, the lowest it has even been. With that in mind, hereโs why you should grab this amazing deal at your earliest.
Why Now Is the Perfect Time to Buy the Halo MCC on Steam
The Halo Master Chief Collection is at a whopping 75% off its MSRP, placing its price to just $9.99, a far cry from its original, admittedly inflated price.
This also happens to be the lowest the bundle has ever been on Steam, and now is the perfect time to grab it, in case you havenโt already. The game holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating of 91.19%, and still has a more or less active player base.
Itโs also a really good deal, given that the MCC includes all Halo games in it, with the exception of Infinite and Halo 5: Guardians. That being said, neither Infinite nor Guardians were particularly memorable titles, so it isnโt a huge loss.
The PC port is also quite solid, having been optimized and ported over to modern day machines, and is quite easy to run across a variety of PC hardware, including the likes of Valveโs handheld gaming PC, the Steam Deck.
A Great Way to Revisit the Classics Before the Release of the Halo CE Remake Next Year
We already have news of the upcoming Halo Combat Evolved remake making its way over to most major platforms, including the PC and PlayStation 5 some time in 2026. Itโs quite an interesting release for Xbox, given that its flagship franchise is finally going multiplatform, releasing on a PlayStation console (something which would have been deemed as impossible back in the Xbox 360 era).
With the imminent release of the Halo CE remake, now is the perfect time to jump into the Master Chief Collection, and play through the games that defined a generation. Haloโs MCC pack also includes an enhanced version of the first Halo (Halo CE), which still remains a very enjoyable game to this very day.

Playing through the campaign ahead of the CE remake is a great way to kick things off, and will likely let you spot whatever changes and/or easter eggs the developers choose to incorporate into the remake easier.
The game also possesses dual graphics modes, with the ability to switch between the original (albeit upscaled) visuals and a much newer, if somewhat mixed visual fidelity game mode that attempts to enhance the graphics of the original with varying degrees of success.
Itโs also the only way to get functional multiplayer working on the original Halo maps, given that the CE remake will be entirely missing a dedicated co-op mode, which is quite the shame (hence the name Campaign Evolved for the remake).
No matter how you slice it though, the Halo MCC bundle is a fantastic offer at present, and would be players will find a great deal of enjoyment out of this anthology of genre defining sci-fi first person shooters.
