February 2026 Nintendo Direct: All Announcements
We began the stream with a rather fun co-op game, which featured retro, hand drawn anime visuals, known as Orbitals. This was followed by the main showcase, focused around partner games.
This was followed by trailers for Nintendo Switch 1 games, of which Paranorma Sight: The Mermaid’s Curse was the most intriguing of them all.
The first Nintendo Switch 2 game was Tokyo Scramble, a game where you hide from aggressive dinosaurs in what is a completely stealth experience. This was followed by the reveal of a Nintendo Switch 2 port of Valheim (finally!)
We also finally had our look at a standalone Nintendo Switch 2 edition for Hollow Knight. More interestingly though, those who own a copy of the game will automatically receive the next gen upgrade.
E-Football was also announced, as was a new HD-2D action RPG from Sqaure Enix, titled The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, looking very much like Octopath Traveler. This was followed by an anthology of Bomberman, with Game Share support and a Boss Rush mode.
A surprise mention was Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, the second entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. The game has been confirmed to be heading on over to the Nintendo Switch 2 in the form of a native port on June 3, 2026.
Capcom also was in full force today, showcasing a demo for Pragmata, their upcoming action adventure game. The reveal of the game for the system was previously rumored, but unconfirmed until now.
Turok also made its return with Turok: Origins, which does look unfortunately janky. This was followed by Kyoto Xanadu, a port of Digimon Story: Time Stranger and Granblue Fantasy ReLink: Endless Ragnarok.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections is also making its way to the Switch 2. Console Archives were also introduced, which had a bunch of classic NES and SNES games on them.
The show ended with a string of game announcements and the grand reveal of Resident Evil Requiem for the Nintendo Switch 2, which does look mighty impressive. This was also followed by announcements for native ports of Resident Evil 7 and 8.
A surprise reveal of Fallout 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2 was also present, as was a rather surprising port of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered also got its port, although we don’t have a release date just yet.
