The new Flashpoint – Patch Notes 1.22.0 for Arc Raiders came with some new weapons and Arcs, including the new energy shotgun Dolabra. In this guide we’ll go through a step-by-step guide on how to find it and defeat the new Arc.
What is the Dolabra & Why It Matters
The Dolabra in ARC Raiders is the most talked about new weapon since the Flashpoint – Patch. Since it’s an energy shotgun with a variable focus mechanism, it lets you toggle between a wide electrical burst and a tight, armour piercing beam. In order to acquire the gun you need to hunt down its blueprint, which means heading straight into one of the most dangerous map condition in the game currently.
Dolabra sit firmly as an S-tier weapon for close-range for PvP after the Flashpoint patch, its dual firing modes set it apart from every other shotgun in the game. Plus, it’s wide-burst scatters electricity across a group of enemies, while the focused beam, punches through heavy armour plating at close to mid range. - Wait for ARC Operation: Close Scrutiny to activate on your current map.
- Locate the Assessor, a large stationary ARC machine that lands at controlled points across the map.
- Destroy the Assessor to access the high value loot inside, which includes a chance at the Dolabra blueprint.
- Expect reduced loot value elsewhere during this map condition.

How to survive the Vaporizer
The Vaporizer is the new medium sized flying ARC unit introduced in Flashpoint patch. it guards the Assessor and hits with a laser attack that have extremely high damage with an unpredictable pattern compared to other flying ARC units
Tips to survive and defeat Vaporizer:
- Keep moving constantly, the Vaporizer’s lasers track stationary targets far more effectively than one moving.
- Aim for the underside, critical weal points are partially obscured by armour plating, but the undercarriage exposes them during attack animations.
- Use grenades for burst damage, the Wolfpack nerf from path 1.17.0 makes it less ideal, but explosive grenades still trigger significant damage.
- Don’t fight the Vaporizer in the open, use cover to break line of sight between laser burts, then punish the recovery window.
