This is the first โ€˜splitโ€™ of LPL 2026, and has players divided into 14 teams, and a total of 3 separate groups, evaluated by their performance in 2025. The entire match is carried out in a Best of Three format, with a double round robin and โ€˜Hard Fearless Draftโ€™.

LoL Pro League (LPL) 2026 Split 1 Start Date and Where to Watch

The LPL 2026 Split began today, January 13, 2026, with Group Ascend taking place today. The teams are split in the following manner, judging on their performance in 2025:

  • Group Ascend, with 6 teams total
  • Group Perseverance with 4 teams total
  • Group Nirvana with 4 teams total

The top four from Group Ascend will immediately make their way to the Playoffs Bracket Stage.
