According to a new claim from a well-known leaker, Grand Theft Auto 6‘s long-awaited third trailer might be arriving next week. The wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 has produced tons of theories about in-game details, new trailers, and plot points, and Rockstar’s long bout of silence has continued to add fuel to the fire.

The leak in comes from Graczdari, who has a decent track record of getting details right with past games. Graczdari was one of the first to shrug off the Best Buy GTA 6 leaks as false, and they have also been correct about the Oblivion Remastered physical edition and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024‘s PS5 version. Just because Graczdari has been right in the past, though, doesn’t mean their claims are accurate now. All leaks and rumors should be taken with a grain of salt until Rockstar actually confirms something
What’s even more interesting is that the leak also claims Rockstar could be announcing the trailer sometime today. If that doesn’t happen, it might potentially debunk the leak altogether. There’s no way to know for sure, though. Leaks containing a blend of correct and incorrect info can definitely happen. Trailer 3 coming out on May 26 would also make a lot of sense. After the first GTA 6 delay, Rockstar pushed the game back to May 26, 2026, before eventually delaying it again back to the current November 19 launch date.
When Will Marketing For GTA 6 Start?
Some tidbits have been dropped surrounding Take-Two’s Q4 Earnings call, including an update on when marketing and, therefore, more footage of GTA 6 will be released. The company’s report confirmed that marketing for GTA 6 will begin this “summer”, but that does not mean a trailer will be dropping in the days after the Q4 call. Zelnick told in an interview that their definition of summer does not include “the next few weeks:”
“So the next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing GTA 6.”
The gaming industry is about to enter the annual Summer Game Fest period of showcases in early June, so this more or less rules out any appearances from a GTA 6 trailer at these presentations in the next few weeks. The summer period in the Northern Hemisphere begins in late June and continues through to early September, which gives a rough idea of when a new GTA 6 trailer can be expected.
Possibility that marketing will begin as early as late June, meaning fans could be diving into the much awaited third trailer in as little as a month. That said, summer is several months long, and Zelnick refused to specify exactly when marketing would begin in the season, so July or August are also possibilities.
No More Delays For GTA 6 Release
Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has reassured gamers that another delay isn’t in the cards, but nothing is impossible. Even though GTA 6 isn’t releasing on May 26, the next trailer taking its place would be better than nothing. It’s now been a full year since Rockstar shared insight into GTA 6‘s world. The second trailer debuted on May 6 last year, and many gamers have been hoping for at least one more sneak peek before the game finally arrives.
