You should save your Primogems for Nefer in Genshin Impact, Here’s why

Nefer genshin impact Nefer genshin impact

Key Highlights:

  • Nefer is an upcoming character for version 6.1 of Genshin Impact.
  • She pairs rather well with another character from 6.1, making her quite worth collecting.
  • More details on her kit, abilities and more will be listed.

Genshin Impact routinely releases new, 5-star characters for players to chase and collect, and Nefer is no exception. Designated as a Dendro unit, Nefer is the head of the Crematorium of Secrets, along with being a member of the Voynich Guild, known for her calculating and all-knowing nature.

She is to be released very soon, and will be one of the focused characters for version 6.1. Naturally, she is going to be a bit tricky to obtain, which can be compensated for with careful planning and saving. That being said, Nefer is an excellent unit who should serve to be quite useful in Genshin Impact.

Should You Pull for Nefer in Genshin Impact?

Nefer is expected to be released during the second half of Genshin Impact 6.1, on approximately October 22, 2025. Being part of the second set of banners, Nefer should be relatively easier to obtain, as players will have additional time to save their resources along the way.

That being said, Nefer is most certainly worth summoning for in Genshin Impact. She pairs very nicely with Lauma, the first character for version 6.1, and can trigger the newly introduced Lunar-Bloom reaction.

In fact, Nefer is the bis unit for Lauma, and her top priority support. If you already have Lauma, chasing after Nefer is a no-brainer. However, chasing back to back 5 star units can be a bit of a hassle.

As such, Nefer can be begrudgingly skipped if players fail to obtain Lauma. Alternatively, it is also possible to disregard all notions of meta and grab Nefer anyway. In that case, players might still be better off saving their precious Primogems for a Lauma rerun, in order to make Nefer a lot more โ€˜usableโ€™.

Genshin Impact 6.1 Nefer Leaked Kit, Abilities, Weapon, and More

Nefer is a 5-star character in Genshin Impact, set to be featured during the second half of version 6.1. This makes her a bit difficult to obtain, on account of the potentially high number of pulls involved in the due process.

Assuming you have not lost the 50/50 pity counter in a previous banner, Nefer will require a total of 160 pulls to guarantee. Obviously, the actual number will vary based on RNG and luck.

That being said, if you do plan on getting her, consider grabbing her 5-star Catalyst weapon along the way as well. 5-star weapons are far superior to 4-star and 3-star alternatives, and come with a wide variety of character specific buffs and perks that can be quite transformative.

As far as her kit goes, we know of the following (at 0 constellations):

  • Elemental Skill: Jumps into the air
  • Elemental Burst: Make use of the Polyhedral device
  • Passive Talent 1: Bloom grants Nefer a special buff instead of creating Dendro Cores
  • Passive Talent 2: Boosts ATK
  • Passive Talent 3: Similar to Lauma
  • Passive Talent 4: Brings in more rewards when dispatched to a Nod Krai expedition

Some parts of the kit are still unknown. These bits should be gradually revealed over time, as we approach the release of version 6.1, which should be available next month.
