The Valorant Champions Tournament of 2025 is currently underway, and it brings with it quite a few exciting developments in the esports space. The competition is at an all-time peak currently, and is in its playoffs stage for the upper finals.
Today’s competition is centered around Fnatic and NRG, and is scheduled to be broadcast on the official social media channels of Valorant’s Champions Tournament. With that in mind, here’s all you need to know.
Valorant Champions Tournament 2025 Fnatic vs NRG Timings and Where to Watch
The Fnatic versus NRG match begins today, October 3, 2025 at around 04:30 PM (GMT +5.5). A winner will be selected by the end of the match, and will make their way on to the finals.
The match can be viewed in its entirety on the official Twitch and YouTube channels for the Valorant Champions Tour, embedded above. This match is expected to be a close one too, given that Fnatic and NRG share world rankings of 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
While there is no clear favorite for this particular Valorant match, team Fnatic is expected to take the lead this time around – assuming NRG doesn’t manage to pull a sneaky one and come out on top.
After all, Fnatic holds second place in overall world rankings at present, which gives them a very clear advantage here. That being said, NRG is not going to go down without a fight, being only a position lower than Fnatic.

Previously, both Fnatic and NRG have also gone toe to toe during the Champions Tour 2023 Masters Tokyo playoffs, where Fnatic embarrassed NRG with a 2-0 lead. This is perhaps the best opportunity for NRG to get payback, but that remains to be seen.
Valorant Champions Tournament 2025 Fnatic vs NRG Match Highlights
The match began with a rather surprising lead from NRG, who scored a total of 8 points versus 4 when compared to Fnatic. If anything, Fnatic looked like it was in pretty bad shape, until a last moment victory from the team that helped them grab 4 points instead of 3.
This was followed by a rather tense halftime, after which we were brought immediately into the remainder of the match.
Fnatic is known as the king of comebacks, and this theme unfortunately did not carry over the rest of the game, where they managed to score a decisive 12 points by the end, as opposed to NRG’s 13 points.
In the end, NRG was crowned the winner of the three rounds and a rather surprising, tense Overtime.
What to Expect From the Valorant Champions Tournament 2025 Grand Finals
The Champions Tournament 2025 Finals for Valorant is set to take place soon, and the winner of today’s matches will make their way on to the Grand Finals. NRG made it to the finals, and the second, opposing team should be selected from a match between PRX and DRX, scheduled for some time later today.
All things considered though, we might see a finals between NRG and Paper Rex for this year, if the stars align.
The winner gets access to a prize pool of $2,250,000. Of this, the team that manages to gain first place gets a total of $1,000,000.
