Capcom TGS 2025 Capcom TGS 2025

Key Highlights:

  • Tokyo Games Show brings with it many publishers to the stage.
  • Capcom has also confirmed their appearance in TGS 2025.
  • A lot of exciting games are expected to be revealed.

The Tokyo Games Show (TGS) of this year is now finally open to the general public, and it brings with it a host of participants. One of this yearโ€™s many participants is Capcom, who have already shared their schedule prior.

That being said, there still is a lot to unpack here, and Capcom may have a few surprise tricks up its sleeve as well.

When and Where to Watch Capcomโ€™s TGS 2025 Presentation

Capcom will hold its special segment in Chiba, Japan. This event will be broadcast across the globe from its official YouTube channel. The event is set to begin tomorrow, September 24, 2025 at around 7 AM Pacific Time (PT).

The stream will also be broadcast live on the official Tokyo Game Show YouTube channel as well.

Do note that the stream is pre-recorded. As such, donโ€™t expect there to be live demos or presentations of the sort. Although, we could see a few playable builds of upcoming titles on the show room floor.

What to Expect From Capcom at TGS 2025

We expect there to be a ton of important announcements, including some heavy hitters like Resident Evil Requiem. The following games have been confirmed to make an appearance by Capcom:

  • Resident Evil Requiem
  • Monster Hunter Stories 3
  • Onimusha Way of the Sword
  • Pragmata
  • Mega Man StarForce Legacy Collection
  • Monster Hunter Wilds DLC
  • Street Fighter 6
  • Monster Hunter Outlanders
  • Resident Evil Survival Unit

Of these, the showstopper for the event is very likely going to be Resident Evil Requiem. Requiem is the next mainline Resident Evil game, and features a new protagonist, aiming to deliver the best of Resident Evil 7 and 8 in one package.

Requiem was revealed during last yearโ€™s The Game Awards, and could be peak Capcom, assuming the stars align, and if Capcom has something really special up its sleeve.

The next game in focus would be Pragmata, which is also slated to be released in 2026. Pragmata brings with it serious BioShock vibes (with its whole guardian and little girl with powers thing), and also features a mix of gunplay and hacking. We are likely set to get a finalized release date on the trailer this time around.

Onimusha Way of the Sword is also one of the more important games in focus for TGS, set to be released sometime in 2026 as well. This action adventure game from Capcom is the first mainline entry into the Onimusha series, since 2006โ€™s Onimusha Dawn of Dreams.

The game looks fantastic with its slick combat and visuals, and is perhaps one of the more anticipated titles in this list. There might be an additional trailer revealing the release date, based on our assumptions.

Next, we have two entries from Capcomโ€™s ever popular Monster Hunter franchise. The recently released Monster Hunter Wilds gets yet another update in late September, titled the โ€˜Free Title Update 3โ€™.

The other Monster Hunter game in focus is Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection. Monster Hunter Stories has always been a rather engaging RPG spinoff of the Monster Hunter franchise, and Twisted Reflection shouldnโ€™t disappoint either.

The game was announced during the recent Nintendo Direct.

As far as the other games go, Street Fighter 6 is set to get a new character as part of its Year 3 update, named C. Viper. The Mega Man Starforce Legacy Collection on the other hand, is an anthology of existing Mega Man Star Force games, packaged into one title.

Monster Hunter Outlanders likely refers to a mobile spin off, and thereโ€™s unfortunately not a whole lot known about Resident Evil Survival Unit.

Weโ€™re pretty sure Capcom has a few more surprises planned, so we will have to wait and see until tomorrow.
