Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is still receiving a slew of content updates, and the team at Activision are working hard to bring the franchise back on track. With that in mind, Season 01 Reloaded has just been announced, which is a mid season update.

The update brings with it a plethora of new content, including the much anticipated Fallout collaboration. That being said, hereโ€™s everything you need to know about the update.

The Fallout collaboration is arguably the most hyped part of the update. This arrives in the form of a collaboration between Amazon Primeโ€™s Fallout TV series and manifests itself as a collection of skins and special game modes, tailored for the event in mind.

That being said, hereโ€™s the know how:

  • Vault Town as the new map. In particular, this is a post apocalyptic turnover for the existing Nuketown map.
  • The Power Armor Royale has been added as a New Warzone LTM. To use it, players must charge Fusion Cores which in turn grants players a sizable health boost, unique weapons and thrusters.
  • Two Fallout themed events have been added to the game (Deathclaw Hunt and Quantum Exchange Event) which lets players unlock Operator skins (based on Lucy, Maximus and The Ghoul).
  • A new map, Yakei has been added. This is a 6v6 map with Meltdown and Fringe added to the game as favorites from previous Black Ops entries.
  • The Sturmwolf 45 (SMG) has been added as a new weapon.
  • The Hawker HX (Sniper) has also been introduced.
  • New Scorestreaks make their way to Black Ops 7, with the return of classic such as the Dreadnought, Death Machine and SAM Turret.
  • The Astra Malorum has been added as a new map. This is a round based map that features Deathclaws as its threats.
  • A variety of minor and major upgrades have been added, as augments for pre-existing perks.
  • There have been significant adjustments made to Akita and Sniper Rifles, in the name of weapon tuning.
  • Stim spamming is being discouraged by nerfing the usage of Stim Shots in battles. In a nutshell, the Stim Shot now heals for 80 HP per second (instead of 160), making it less of a viable choice in long drawn out battles.

Additionally, Call of Duty now mandates some strict hardware requirements in order to be able to play the game. Players must have Secure Boot enabled, along with the TPM 2.0 hardware module present on their systems. Failure to do so will result in the anti cheat system (RICOCHET) not working; which in turn wonโ€™t let you play.

Several quality of life improvements have also been added, the most important of which include a โ€˜Go To Challengeโ€™ shortcut button in your rewards feed, along with improved puzzle navigation with a mouse.

Players can also verify their email (for their Call of Duty accounts) and receive the โ€˜Veiled Auroraโ€™ universal camo and a bunch of 1 hour Double EXP tokens as part of the reward campaign.
