Key Highlights:

  • Arknights Endfield recently launched another closed technical test.
  • This test will take place for the PC, Android, iOS and PS5.
  • Thereโ€™s 3 ways to join the test, making it quite confusing.

A teaser declaring yet another closed beta test phase for Arknights Endfield was announced earlier via its official social media channels.

Endfield is one of the most anticipated gacha games in recent years, and is set as a free to play gacha ARPG with an emphasis on inventory management and factory simulation. The game is expected to be released in 2026, across the PC, PS5 and mobile devices (Android, iOS).

If youโ€™re interested in learning how to join the closed beta, youโ€™ve come to the right place.

How to Apply for the Arknights Endfield Beta Test II

The Arknights Endfield Beta Test II is set to officially begin on November 28, 2025 for PCs, Android and iOS devices with sign ups being made available from the official website of the game.

The process to join the beta test is a bit confusing, so hereโ€™s a walkthrough of it:

  • Head on over to this particular URL.
  • Click on the yellow Pre-Register button at the bottom of the page.
  • Log in using your Gryphline email address and password. If you donโ€™t have one already, click on the Register button and create an account, and go back to the start of this step.
  • Once you log in, youโ€™ll be greeted by a dialog box that lets you choose whatever platform you want to play the technical test on.
  • Choose all options that apply, and hit the Pre-Register button.

You should now be greeted by a pre-registration complete message, which concludes the sign up process. This also confirms your interest in the test, and if youโ€™re lucky, youโ€™ll be notified via an email from the official Arknights Endfield account.

Thereโ€™s also another way to win test access, which involves heading to the official โ€˜All Charged Upโ€™ event URL. This is a mini event, and has you completing a variety of tasks to unlock chances at the gachapon machine.

Completing each task earns you one spin chance, which can then be used to gain Charge and progress the yellow meter on your left. Thereโ€™s milestones here, and a chance at obtaining the beta access for Arknights Endfield.

However, the drop rates arenโ€™t exactly high, and these entries are limited to 1500 only. With that in mind, the event lasts until November 13, 2025 so make sure to hurry.

Thereโ€™s also a special PS5 Technical Test that is recruiting now. To participate, simply head on over to this survey link and participate. Winners will be chosen at random.

Keep in mind that this bit of the test is exclusive to the PS5 version of the game.

What Kind of Game Is Arknights Endfield?

Arknights Endfield is a spinoff of developer Hypergryphโ€™s rather popular Arknights, a free to play tower defense like gacha game. Unlike the first Arknights, Endfield has a far greater emphasis on strategic gameplay, evolving it further beyond the tower defense niche.

Players take control of units, and use their abilities to defeat enemies, in strict coordination. If youโ€™re familiar with tower defense and RPGs, this should appeal to you.

Being a gacha game, Arknights Endfield does feature a healthy dose of microtransactions, but these shouldnโ€™t be too invasive, giving just about enough resources for free to play players to use to progress through the game and obtain their favorite characters.
