This reliance on automated ability wins has stripped away the rewarding, fluid combat loops that originally made competitive play so distinct.
Adding to the frustration of automated abilities is the current state of matches in Ranked, which has evolved into a mix of passive camping and relentless third-party matches mostly. Because survival points are much better than going for kill points with a chance at getting 3rd partied during or right after the fight.
