Itโs a rather exciting multiplayer focused โdream exploration gameโ, with a ton of chaotic fun and action to go along with it. Hereโs everything you need to know about the game, including its release date, special features and what to expect.
Mamaโs Sleeping Angels Release Date and Supported Platforms
Mamaโs Sleeping Angels is coop multiplayer game that is projected to be releasing sometime in Q1 2026. The game has no release date set in stone, rather a release window which looks to be by the end of March 2026.
As far as platforms go, we only have the PC confirmed at present. The game will be made available via the Steam storefront. Pricing remains to be announced as of the time of writing this article.
What Is Mamaโs Sleeping Angels About?
Mamaโs Sleeping Angels is best described as a 1 to 4 player โY2K dream exploration gameโ. Y2K presumably refers to the Year 2000 computer problem, which threatened to halt all critical systems thanks to an error in the formatting and storage of calendar function data (when approaching the year 2000).
The inability of a computer to see between dates was going to be a massive problem, and many feared for the worst, including a total technological collapse. Itโs just a guess, but this could likely be related to the theme of Mamaโs Sleeping Angels.

As per the official game description, players find themselves abducted into a goddessโ dream, Mama. In order to survive, players will have to locate and bring back certain cursed objects on the map, or die trying.
Itโs a really experimental title that seems to have a lot of wacky things going on behind the scenes.
As far as gameplay goes, it features 1 to 4 person coop, with a total of 6 procedurally generated โdreamworldsโ to explore. Weapons are also varied, with chainsaws, sniper rifles and famasโ.
The visuals also look very trippy, with post apocalyptic, almost fantastical artwork and vibes.
