Silent Hill X Fortnite Collab Teased by Leaker Ahead of Silent Hill f Launch

Silent Hill x Fortnite Silent Hill x Fortnite

Key Highlights:

  • Fortnite is expected to have a collaboration with the Silent Hill series.
  • The contents of the collaboration are still unknown.
  • The event might begin on or before September 25.

Fortnite is not exactly new to the world of weird and wacky collaborations. The game routinely holds multiple events in a month, crossing over with all sorts of anime, movies and video game franchises.

Of these, one of the stranger collabs would be with the upcoming Silent Hill f, in the form of a generic collab between the franchise and the battle royale. More on the story as it develops below, and of what to possibly expect from the same as well.

Leaks Suggest the Release of a Fortnite X Silent Hill Collab

As per Twitter/X user Wenso (Wensoing), Fortnite is apparently preparing for a collaboration event with the Silent Hill video game franchise. This information comes courtesy of multiple third party leakers – many of whom were noted to correctly โ€˜predictโ€™ the events of Seasons 3 and 4 of Fortnite.

The collaboration comes just in time for the release of Silent Hill f, a new entry in the Silent Hill series. Unlike prior Silent Hill games, Silent Hill f takes place in Japan, and has a greater emphasis on combat, complemented by Ryukishi07โ€™s writing.

This wouldnโ€™t be the first time that Fortnite has carried out a collaboration with Konami either – it has previously drawn in the likes of Solid Snake from the ever popular Metal Gear Solid series as well, which recently achieved a significant milestone.

Silent Hill f releases on September 25, 2025, and as such, one can expect the event to be released on or before the mentioned date. We donโ€™t have any official response from Epic Games regarding the possible collaboration just yet though, so take this information with a grain of salt.

What to Possibly Expect From the Silent Hill X Fortnite Event

The details of the collaboration event are still unknown as of the time of writing this article, and the leaker does not seem to specify which games will be included in the crossover. As such, this could be a rather generic collab, with items, locations and cosmetics thrown in from popular titles across the series.

In a nutshell, we really donโ€™t know what to expect just yet. That being said, the collaboration will most certainly include elements from the upcoming Silent Hill f, in a bid to make it appeal to a wider audience (even if Fortnite is one of the more curious choices for the same).

We also might get in-game assets from Bloober Teamโ€™s excellent Silent Hill 2 remake, which has been developed using Epic Gamesโ€™ own Unreal Engine 5 – which should make them porting over a breeze.

Other titles such as the often underrated Silent Hill 4: The Room should hopefully be present in the collaboration event in some shape or form, albeit in a rather toned down manner. Do not expect there to be the same level of visceral psychological and body horror as the actual games themselves.

After all, Fortnite is primarily marketed as a children’s game. Personally, I would wager on there being simplified scares and spooks, adjusted to the overall lore of the game. It would be a shame if the characteristic heavy fog was missing from the in-game map though.

We also should very likely see the addition of a few cosmetic items and equips in the game, purchasable using V-Bucks, which is the norm for almost every modern Fortnite collab.

Itโ€™s a weird collaboration for sure, but might just turn out to be an interesting way to get a whole new audience of gamers into Silent Hill – especially when we take into consideration the appeal of Fortnite.
