The free Type Soul codes hand out rerolls, which are the entire progression system in this Bleach-inspired Roblox experience. You pick a path as a Soul Reaper, a Hollow, or a Quincy, and almost everything after that is decided by an annoying RNG mechanic. Your clan, your element, your weapon, and your Shikai all come out of a roll. These codes are the only way to get more rolls for free.

And this is why it matters now more since the rerelease. The game made its comeback this summer after roughly a year away, with the original developer back on it. Hellverse content was added, along with a permadeath system borrowed from Deepwoken. A bad roll used to be an inconvenience, to say the least. But it is now something you can lose a character to. Here is every working code, how to redeem them, and which rerolls are actually worth burning.

Codes are case-sensitive, so it’s recommended to copy them from the table below rather than typing them out, because a single wrong character returns the same error as an expired code and it’ll be difficult to tell them apart.

Almost every Type Soul code follows the same pattern. You get one locked Shikai, Res, or Volt reroll, plus one locked clan reroll. The wording on the reward rarely changes, which is why most code lists online just say “free rewards” and leave it there.

None of these carry a published expiry date. The developer tends to pull codes without warning once the milestone that prompted them is met, and hence it’s recommended to redeem these the day you find them.

How to Redeem Type Soul Codes in Roblox

You will be required to reach semi-rank 2 before the game accepts any given code. New characters cannot redeem at all, which catches out most players who arrive from a codes page and try to cash in on their first login. Expect an hour or two of quests and mob clearing to get there.

Once you are past that gate, follow these steps:

Launch Type Soul in the Roblox player.
Click the gift box icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
Paste a working code into the text box.
Press Enter.
Check your inventory, since rerolls land there rather than applying automatically.

Rewards appear instantly when a code lands. If nothing arrives and you get no error message, go back to the menu and rejoin the server before trying again.

Why are My Type Soul Codes Not Working?

The most common reason is that the code has expired, and Type Soul reuters codes faster than almost any other Roblox game of its size. The developer often issues a code to mark a milestone and pulls it within the week.

Three other causes account for the rest:

Rank – Below semi-rank 2, the redemption box will reject everything you enter.
Case – These codes are case-sensitive, and several of them mix capitals into the middle of a word
Server State – Codes issued during or immediately after a shutdown sometimes only register on freshly started servers. Rejoining often fixes this issue.

If a code fails on all four counts, it is likely to be gone, and the next best step is to move to the next one rather than retrying it.

Where to Find New Type Soul Codes First

The official Type Soul Discord is where codes appear before anywhere else. Watch the update-log and announcements channels specifically, because codes are usually attached to patch posts rather than posted on their own.

The game also runs a public Trello board called Type Soul Info V2, named for the March 2024 launch. It is the better resource for mechanics than for code, covering clan trees, raid rotations and the developer roadmap. Anyone trying to work out what a reroll is actually worth should read it before spending one.

Code drops in this game usually follow a pattern, and come with milestone counts on likes and visits with patch releases, or maybe as apologies after an outage. That last category has been the most active since the game’s rerelease.

What Type Soul Codes Are Worth Spending On

In Type Soul, a reroll is not free value, because you are trading a known outcome for an unknown one. Therefore, understanding which of these rerolls are worth it before spending and when can be handy.

Hold clan rerolls – Since clan determines your long-term ceiling more than any other roll, and the good ones are rare enough that spending a single reroll on a mediocre result is usually a downgrade in expectation. It’s a good idea to bank them until you have four or five and reroll in a run.
Spend Shikai and Res rerolls early – These affect moment-to-moment combat, and a bad one makes the mid-game grind meaningfully slower. There is no reason to sit on them.
Treat element rerolls as filler – The spread between elements is narrower than the community tier lists suggest, and you will get more of these than you can use.

With permadeath now in play, the calculation shifts for anyone running a character they care about. Rerolling a build you are winning with is a real risk, not a free upgrade.
