Call of Duty is finally making its way to the big leagues, and is hosting a ton of Esports tournaments to ensure its resurgence. Aptly titled the โ€˜Resurgence Seriesโ€™, this is a new, upcoming circuit from Call of Duty and has players duke it out over months of intense battles to lay claim to a $1.2 million prize pool.

That being said, here is everything you need to know about the Resurgence Series, including its participating teams, format and known schedules. 

Call of Duty Announces the Resurgence Series for Warzone

As announced within an official X post, the Call of Duty Esports wing has announced the emergence of its Resurgence Series, a dedicated Esports tournament set within the maps of Call of Duty Warzone, incorporating its features and many quirks.

The event starts February 9, 2026 and has a $1.2 million prize pool. For 2026, Call of Duty Warzone Resurgence Series includes online qualifiers, two mid season LAN tournaments and finally, a Championship within the Esports World Cup of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
