Call of Duty is finally making its way to the big leagues, and is hosting a ton of Esports tournaments to ensure its resurgence. Aptly titled the โResurgence Seriesโ, this is a new, upcoming circuit from Call of Duty and has players duke it out over months of intense battles to lay claim to a $1.2 million prize pool.

Call of Duty Announces the Resurgence Series for Warzone
As announced within an official X post, the Call of Duty Esports wing has announced the emergence of its Resurgence Series, a dedicated Esports tournament set within the maps of Call of Duty Warzone, incorporating its features and many quirks.

The event starts February 9, 2026 and has a $1.2 million prize pool. For 2026, Call of Duty Warzone Resurgence Series includes online qualifiers, two mid season LAN tournaments and finally, a Championship within the Esports World Cup of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
