Key Highlights:
- Cyberpunk 2077 is at 75% off for the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
- The deal appears to be due to a technical glitch, so it might be worth making haste.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also something you should consider playing afterward.
The winter sales are finally underway, and weโve had a bunch of discounts to follow up on, especially for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. In addition to first party titles, Nintendo is also offering heaps of discounts on a bunch of third party titles, one of which happens to be CD Projekt Redโs Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
Cyberpunk 2077 at a Massive 75% off on the Nintendo Eshop
Cyberpunk 2077โs Ultimate Edition has finally hit a sale today, with a massive 75% discount over its $70 launch MSRP. This makes the action adventure RPG available at only $17.49, which is practically a steal at this price.
Considering that the game was only recently launched for the Nintendo Switch 2, itโs a pretty decent sale overall, and a great game in its own right to play on a portable machine.
That being said, there are a few gotchas. For starters, this particular 75% discount only seems to be valid in the US version of the Eshop, will other regions only receiving a paltry 43% discount instead.

Itโs likely that this is a technical error within the Eshop. CD Projekt Red and/or Nintendo might have โaccidentallyโ set the same 75% discount from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on Cyberpunk, resulting in the current predicament.
With that in mind, now would be the perfect time to grab the deal, and readers are urged to make haste – just in case Nintendo decides to change their minds afterward and push the game back to its actual discounted price of $40.
Why You Should Play Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is an action adventure RPG that was initially released back in December 10, 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The game was critically panned on release, with many reviewers and players pointing toward optimization issues, a disjointed game experience and a generally unpolished title during launch overall.
It got so bad that PlayStation had to remove the game from its storefront, until CD Projekt Red finally patched it up. As of right now, Cyberpunk 2077 is completely unrecognizable from its launch state, and the game on offer is vastly superior and far more polished.
Itโs not perfect though, but CD Projekt Red has finally managed to redeem itself (especially after the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC), and Cyberpunk 2077 is a very decent game to recommend in 2025.
It also plays surprisingly well on the Nintendo Switch 2, and maintains a smooth 30 frames per second while maintaining an acceptable level of visual fidelity.
Consider Buying the Witcher 3 as Well
Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 isnโt the only game from CD Projekt Red. Thereโs also the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, yet another fantastic RPG from the team, which was released back in 2015 for consoles and PCs.
The game managed to sweep through most awards past its release, including multiple coveted Game of The Year trophies. In other words, itโs a fantastic game that everyone should try at least once.
The game also received a Nintendo Switch (first generation) port back in 2022, which was for the most part serviceable. This version also runs on the much upgraded Switch 2, with a more consistent frame rate making it ideal for newcomers.
As such, the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is a perfect follow up after youโve completed Cyberpunk 2077.
