Blizzard has just revealed its plans to celebrate Diablo 4‘s 3rd anniversary, including the return of the March of the Goblins and Mother’s Blessing events, along with five days of free gifts.
Diablo 4 Players Can Claim 5 Days of Free Gifts
In a blog post from Blizzard, the company shared the details for Diablo 4‘s 3rd anniversary event. The highlight of this event is the five days of free cosmetic gifts that players will be able to claim, including:

- Day 1 – Blood Raven’s Talon (One-handed Sword cosmetic)
- Day 2 – King Kanai’s Last Stand (Shield cosmetic)
- Day 3 – Nangari Wounder (Dagger cosmetic)
- Day 4 – Overlord’s Odium (Two-handed Axe)
- Day 5 – Flamefinger’s Claws (Glaive cosmetic)
The first of these gifts will become available within the Diablo 4 Shop on June 1 at 12pm PDT, with a new gift being added each day until June 6. Diablo 4 players simply need to log into the game and access the shop to claim these gifts before they expire on June 9.
Two Returning In-Game Events
Other than the free gifts, Diablo 4 players can also participate in the Mother’s Blessing and March of the Goblins events. Mother’s Blessing increases the amount of XP players earn from all in-game activities, making it the perfect way to finish leveling up a seasonal build or reach the highest ranks of the Paragon Board. It’s also the perfect opportunity for players to build a second character for Diablo 4 Season 13, perhaps trying out one of the insanely overpowered Barbarian or Sorcerer builds available this season:

March of the Goblins sees a drastically increased spawn chance for Treasure Goblins throughout Sanctuary. With news that Diablo 4‘s broken Treasure Goblin farm has been fixed in the latest update, March of the Goblins is a nice consolation prize for players hoping to farm rare loot from these enemies. Returning with this event is the March of the Goblins Reputation Board, which rewards players for slaying enough of these creatures with helpful items like Resplendent Sparks, needed to craft Mythic gear, as well as the Regalia of the Sacred Creed mount armor.

Diablo 4 recently saw a major spike in returning players with the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion back at the end of April, and now players have an even greater reason to hop back into the game. The festivities begin on June 2 and will run through June 9.
Diablo 4 was first released on June 5 back in 2023, and has undergone some major changes in the three years since. Along with releasing two major expansions in the forms of 2024’s Vessel of Hatred and this year’s Lord of Hatred, Diablo 4 has also seen 13 seasons’ worth of balance changes and mechanical reworks to reach the point where it is today. As the Diablo franchise as a whole celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, Diablo 4 is getting in on the celebration with an exciting event of its own.
