Arena Breakout Infinite (or ABI) has been gaining more and more popularity with time especially since its release on Steam. Lately, the developers have been have trying to improve on the gameplay side to make it an even more exciting playing field for everyone. With this ABI will mark the launch of it’s season 5 and introduce a new playstyle to the game.
When and Where To Watch the Distortion Global Showdown (DGS)
The Distortion Global Showmatch kicks off on April 2;16:30 EDT, where 20 streamers will take part in 5 teams each, representing their regions as squads of 4.
During the match players can vote for their favourite team and show support ahead of each match. By voting, players can generate a personalized invitation letter and take part in event giveaways where players stand a chance to win either 1,00,000 Bonds (Premium In-game currency), 50 Steam $50 gift cards or 5 riptide striker knives.

Some of the popular streamers such as TheBurntpeanut, ImOw, and LVNDMARK will be taking part in this showdown match. Fans will be able to see how to they compete against each other with each team having a different playstyle, carrying over their skills from other games. It will be interesting to see the showdown with the new season changes to the Valley Map, New Weapons, Sniper nerfs and Anomalies.
It’s interesting to note that, some of these streamers have participated previously in the last season’s Dual Arena Showmatch (DAS) held on Jan 7th 2026. Meanwhile the rest of them come from playing other similar games like EFT or Marathon, and will make it fascinating to see how quickly they adapt to ABI with it’s new changes during the matches. Players can also earn certain in-game items just by watching their favourite ABI streamers and content creators on twitch. Please note that one is required to have their twitch and Arena Breakout Infinite accounts linked together for this to work.
