Expanding on it, Overwatch recently launched Reign of Talon Season 2, introducing a new hero, multiple balance adjustments, a meta event, and the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 port. However, excitement around the handheld port release quickly faded away as players ran into performance issues. The game remains capped at 30 FPS, similar to the original Switch version, and in some cases, it performs even worse. The community had been waiting for Blizzard to acknowledge the situation, and the developer has finally stepped in to address the issue.

Blizzard Aims To Fix Overwatch Performance Issues On Switch 2
In a forum post, Blizzard has responded to the performance problems with Overwatch on the Nintendo Switch 2. The developer acknowledges that the game is currently running at a lower FPS limit than intended on the handheld. Blizzard has stated that a patch is in the works that will resolve the issue, but no release window has been shared yet.
