Pokemon GO Recent Events

Pokemon Go just gave some recent events, including a special Fashion Raid Day on April 4. For April Fool’s Day Niantic finally brought Mimikyu into Pokemon Go, a generation 7 creature that fans have been waiting a long time for. While some likely considered the tease of April Fool’s prank, Niantic confirmed it wasn’t a joke as the ghost-type was added during the “A Shockingly Good Time Event“. For those who managed to progress through the associated event pass, an encounter with Mimikyu was added in at level 30 and 60 respectively as well. In addition to that, there will be a chance for players to discover their shiny variant form as well. During the Replay: Go Bigger event Pokemon GO will also have a few event bonuses active as well. Other Future Events To Keep An Eye On
Finally Niantic is raising the daily remote rate limit from 10 to 20. There’s also an event ticket for those who want to spend some actual money, offering timed research reward and bonuses. There’s more for fans to look forward to prior to the Replay: Go Bigger event. To Commemorate Earth Day, Pokemon Go is holding its annual Sustainability Week event on April 14th and running through to April 20th. The Galar Pokemon Silicobra alongside its evolved Sandaconda, will be featured during the event as the sand snake will be appearing more often in the wild. During the special event players might also come across rare spawns as the shiny variant Toedscool and Galarian Corsola with pink sunglasses.

Sustainability Week and the previously revealed Replay: Go Bigger event are part of Niantic’s Bigger April 2026 roadmap, including the upcoming community day for Pokemon Go. This weekend player can take part in TinkaTink community day, with the Pokemon coming featured Gigaton Hammer Charged attack.
