Steam routinely holds promotional offers on games, and this week is no different. The WB Games 2025 Publisher Sale has over 336 products on offer, ranging from Mortal Kombat to the Batman Arkham series.
However, there is one title that is at 85% off, which is a historical low. That game is none other than Hogwarts Legacy, which also happens to be a relatively recent title as well, being released in 2023.
Hogwarts Legacy Is at 85% off, the Lowest Its Ever Been
Released over two years back on February 10, 2023, Hogwarts Legacy is an action RPG (role playing game) taking place in the Harry Potter universe created by J.K. Rowling.
The game takes place in the Wizarding World franchise, which is in turn based on the Harry Potter books and has players control a user generated protagonist as they attend the wonderful wizarding school of Hogwarts.
Like any good RPG, Hogwarts Legacy features a copious amount of skills to unlock, gears to get and ultimately master your character’s proficiency in the magical arts. It’s a pretty solid game, and a surprisingly good one at that.

While some aspects of its storytelling leave a bit to be desired (such as the fact that the game takes place before the events of the books), it was both critically and commercially successful, gaining quite a few game award nominations in the process.
The game is currently at exactly 85% off its MSRP, retailing at $8.99, a pretty sizable discount for what was a AAA title in 2023. This is also the lowest it’s ever been, which would make it the perfect opportunity to grab and play it, if you haven’t already.
This is not taking into account regional pricing, which should make the game even cheaper (and more accessible) in certain regions. The offer ends on October 23, 2025.
Other Games to Consider if You’ve Already Played Hogwarts Legacy
If you’ve already played Hogwarts Legacy – don’t worry, there’s still a handful of great games on sale during the same time period.
If we were to stick to the Harry Potter theme, we have Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions to go for next. This is a Quidditch centric game, taking place in the Wizarding World universe. Hogwarts Legacy lacks a dedicated Quidditch mode, so this game might just be the perfect side game to complement it. It also supports multiplayer and crossplay.
At 80% off, Quidditch Champions is a steal.
There’s also the LEGO Harry Potter Collection, an anthology of Harry Potter game releases under the LEGO brand. Like most LEGO games, this game features your usual dose of the classic LEGO humor, which means it can be a bit divisive.
That being said, at 80% off, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection can be a fun little detour once you’re done with Hogwarts Legacy. It’s a fun little game that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and has a charming vibe to it.
If you’re looking for something a little more action oriented, or maybe just a change of pace, the entire Batman Arkham series is on sale currently. The discounts vary from title to title, but they are pretty steep, and you can grab the entire collection for quite a low price.
The series has been rightfully called the best superhero games to have ever been made, and its combat system has directly inspired other games to implement the same, as seen in the Middle Earth and Marvel’s Spider-Man series.
