Arknights Endfield Finally Gets an Official Release Window

Key Highlights:

  • Arknights Endfield was featured in the September 9 Apple Event.
  • Post event, it was mentioned that the game will release in 2026.
  • This seems very likely given Appleโ€™s track record.

Hypergryphโ€™s Arknights Endfield might finally be getting a release date, thanks to a recent post from Apple. The game was featured during the iPhone 17 launch, showcased specifically during the gaming segment, which is quite the push for both Apple and Hypergryph.

Most notably, this came with a release window confirmed by Apple themselves. These dates are noted to be usually accurate. Unless the game has been delayed even further, should serve to be the final window.

Arknights Enfield Releases in Early 2026

The September 9, 2025 Apple event brought with it the usual announcements, including the rather poorly hidden iPhone 17 series. One of the key features of this presentation was the addition of the A19 and A19 Pro chips in these phones, which enable improvements across the board in activities such as gaming.

Apple chose Hypergryphโ€™s Arknights Endfield for this particular demonstration, showcasing high frame rate gaming and hardware accelerated raytracing. The same was written in a rather long newsroom post from Apple, with an intriguing subscript.

Arknights Endfield has been mentioned to be available in early 2026, but we donโ€™t know if this refers to a โ€˜fullโ€™ global release, or is just restricted to a handful of countries. Hopefully, the game is out by Q1 2026, and we should know a bit more about the same in the coming months.

Arknights Endfield has had quite a few closed beta tests in the past year or so, and is shaping up to be quite fantastic, offering a rather unique gameplay experience (when compared to the original Arknights). Nothing is set in stone though, and it might be better to hold off until Hypergryph officially announces the date.

What Is Arknights Endfield?

Arknights Endfield is a spin off of Hypergryphโ€™s Arknights game, a free to play tower defense gacha styled title that is available for both PC and mobiles (Android, iOS). Like the original Arknights, Endfield is also a free to play title.

The game had a booth at this yearโ€™s Gamescom, offering players a chance to get their hands on the combat and feel of Endfield. Unlike the original Arknights (which is both a resource management sim and a tower defense game), Endfield appears to be more action oriented, with a heavy focus on free flowing combat and team raids.

Itโ€™s certainly one of the more interesting gacha games out there, covering a rather specific niche, which it hopes to fill with both newcomers and veterans alike.

Arknights Endfield will be available for the PlayStation 5, mobiles (Android and iOS), and PC platforms. However, Hypergryph has never explicitly mentioned a Steam release, so we can expect the game to have its own, proprietary launcher (and anti-cheat).

Endfield Will Also Make an Appearance During TGS 2025

Arknights Endfield is also confirmed to be making an appearance during the course of the Tokyo Games Show of 2025. The game should be present on the showroom demo floor between September 25 and September 28, 2025.

The exhibition will last for a total of 3 days, and Hypergryph seems to be eager to push the game to a lot more people this time around, building up on the release hype. Theyโ€™ve also prepared a giveaway of sorts on an official X thread.

However, donโ€™t go expecting too much. Hypergryph is unlikely to prepare any major reveals this time around either, keeping the tight lipped approach as always. Fingers crossed we finally get a confirmation for that 2026 release window though.
